The-School.org and Beyond..

The-School.org continues to exist and it has become more popular with each growing day.
I'm happy to say I have received not only more emails about the films, but that I get more offers for help from teachers as well.
There is no greater feeling in this world then receiving word that one of my films has been viewed in a classroom.
I hope that students and teachers of all ages continue to enjoy the films, and that children of all ages continue to create their world.

The-School.org's Final Film.

On February 2, 2006, the first film of the-school.org, 8 Planets, was uploaded to YouTube. Shortly following the conception of Eden and Ocean Blue, 8 Planets was uploaded to DailyMotion.com on 08/31/06.

Since that time, I have had the single goal to complete the 24 films which were to make up the first series. In actuality, I have only completed 16. This has been largely due to time constraints, outside occurrences, and the fact that I do this without any kind of promotion or endorsement, no funding and in my spare time. While running an operation single-handedly gives you the freedom to do what you like with what you have, you don't often have as much to do want you want to get what you want accomplished. It is because I don't have the time or money that I have to bid the-school.org farewell. It saddens me a little because there were many places I wanted to take the school. But I am also happy that I did receive letters thanking me from people, school and universities all over the world, for what they considered an absolute joy. The whole idea of the-school.org was to help people think outside of the box and be accessible to any age range, level of study and location.

I always tell people that if you can touch one life, you have impacted the world. My single hope is that you've enjoyed the films. I know it was an adventure to put them together. The-school.org will continue to exist on the internet, but for now it will cease production, and Space Shuttle will be considered the final film. I think it appropriate that the series begin and end in my favorite area of studies, outer space.

-And so, as Frank Borman said aboard Apollo 8 while orbiting the moon: good night, good luck, a Merry Christmas – and bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth!
